The Festival of The Turning: Third Turningday
This is a Day of Excessive Indulgence and Bad Behavior. For the Younglings, the day starts with the receiving of gifts and then they are allowed to eat as much cake and candy as they like. For the Adults, this is then followed by dancing, drinking, drugging, fucking without restraint or regret.
Certain members of The Sisterhood will be Festival Guardians. They will abstain and maintain Basic Services, watching the Younglings while doing their best to prevent overdoses and fatalities. Some will do this every year: our Sober Sisters, who will be the Elder Guardians. The others will volunteer one year and then join the festivities during the next few years.
