~William Lind and Noam Chomsky are pretty much at the polar opposite of each other on the so called Left/Right political spectrum. But here are recent quotes from each of them.

I think Chomsky overstates his case somewhat. Admittedly, I've long had a hate-on for the man from a hatred of his theories as regards linguistics (which fail solely because the UG cannot evolve overnight, He Fails Biology Forever) and his apologia for the Khmer Rouge. But even so....I think it's pretty arguable that the South remained a feudal despotism well into the 20th Century right smack in the heart of this capitalist society.

That said, if these two men both see the Emperor as having no clothes, well...O.o
