Line of Credit
So it turns out I can't convert my mobile to post-paid (unless I go to a store) because they can't do a credit check (due to my credit card being a Visa Debit card).
So the fact that I'm not in the habit of spending money I don't have means I'm less likely to be able to make payments (which are taken in advance) for a service (with no contract or handset) that costs the same as what I've been paying on my prepaid account for years. FFS. Stop wasting my time.
I'd get over it and go into a store, only between their useless website and unhelpful telephone service it's taken me a day and half to find out that this is the case. Now I have to carry two phones around until Saturday. Grumble grumble grumble.
EDIT: For interest, I'm paying $28.99 per month for $50 credit and 200MB of data. For an extra $10 I can get 500 SMS's, but I don't think I'll need it.
