Excessive Moderation
For anyone who's finished Fallout 3 and is looking to spice it up a little or get a more refined experience on the second play through; here's one of the many lists of 'recommended mods' that are touted to improve your overall game experience:

Including a music mod to add in tracks from the previous games, removal of the 90% damage reduction in VATS, and of course retexturing, balance changes, weapons changes, and also hiding all karma-related messages. There's a lot more than that, and you can pick whichever ones sound good to you. There's also a mod manager to stop your game folder becoming a horrid mess.
