Cinder, Insignia, and Partials are the ones I would rec. Cinder is Cinderella as a cyborg mechanic, it's very fun and different, I put it off for awhile because I thought it sounded weird but I found it a really fun take on the traditional fairytale.
Insignia is about a kid who goes to military school which doesn't sound at all good in a future world where wars are paid for by corporations which again doesn't sound appealing but believe me, it is really good. I love the friendships in this book, it reminds me of Harry Potter and it's one of the most diverse books I've read which was so refreshing.
Partials is a future world where there aren't many humans left after a war between humans and machines and now all babies die of a virus and the girl who wants to find the cure. Again it sounds like an idea that has been done before but it really is different and well done. These all only have the 1st books out. I don't even know if I've made them sound good but if you trust me then just read them. Oh actually the FIRST one I would rec is Divergent because that is my ultimate favorite, even more than THG!!
