How I watched the 2 hour finale of Lost by 1 pm Thursday

I woke up Thursday morning not having seen the season finale of Lost. I was in a panic.

While Heather was dressing Phineas, I was able to sit down in front of my computer and watch 10 minutes of LOST and eat my breakfast at the same time.

ABC.com has LOST episodes to watch on its nifty little player. Looking at the time counter, it turns out the season finale was actually 83 minutes long.

At work I had a 15 minute break that I devoted to more LOST time. So 83 minutes - 15 - 10 = 60 minutes left.

I go home for lunch everyday but only have an hour for lunch. By the time I get home and take the time to get back to work I only have 40 minutes at home. So I had to somehow get 20 more minutes of LOST in at work.

I do NOT recommend doing things like watching internet TV while at work. But I did it anyway. In 2-3 minute spurts until lunch time.

It wasnt the most effective way to watch LOST. But I was able to squeeze in another 20 minutes before I went home to eat lunch.  That left me with a 40 minutes to watch the finale.

And let me say that it was AWESOME.  I figured out the twist as soon as Jack pulled out his sleek looking phone... but I wasnt a 100% sure until the end of the episode.

This episode was just great.

I highly recommend reading "The Mysterious Island" by Jules Verne and "In Search of the Castaways" by Jules Verne this summer.

Its where LOST gets most of its ideas from... I'm on a mission to find "In Search of the Castaways" and it seems impossible to find this book. I'm assuming most of Season 4 of lost will be devoted to this book.

verne, in search of the castaways, mysterious island, lost
