Heather's Birthday & V-Day
Because Heather's Birthday and Valentine's Day is so close, Heather usually gives me a break and lets me ease up on one of these events.
This year I'm spending more on her birthday than Valentine's Day. I usually alternate on the expenditures.
She wanted an ipod shuffle, so that's what I've got hidden at the house. I might give it to her today since she is at home doing nothing. It would give her some time to figure out how to use it and play with Itunes.
We are going to my parents tonight and probably out to eat for dinner tonight.
I'm hoping tomorrow (her actual birthday) that we can let our neighbor watch Phin for a little while so I can officially take her out for her birthday.
Valentine's Day should be a lot less exciting but hey Valentine's Day is truly a holiday made for men to waste lots of money in the hopes of getting laid.
Since I'm happily married and I know that Heather won't kill me for not getting her anything, I got her a card. I also need to sneak out at some point this weekend though to get her a box of chocolates (since she has been craving chocolate all week).
So that's it. It ain't much but I think Heather will still be happy. I hope. XD
