Did he really say Da Da?

So Phineas is giving us a hard time with sleep. He just doesnt sleep that long at night. He wakes up quite often with a wet diaper or wanting a bottle or just plain wanting to play.

He is the master of the fake cry now.

We can put him to sleep at 9 pm. He will wake up at 12:30 and do his "Waaaaah."

pause.

"Waaaaaaaaaaaah".

Pause.

"Waaaaaaaaah Waaaaaaaah Waaaaaaaaah."

Every time he pauses, you know he's waiting to see if we will get up and check on him.

Well, he was doing this last night but this time it was different.

"Waaaaah."

pause.

"Waaaaaaaaah"

Pause.

"Waaaaaaaah. Waaaaaaaah. Waaaaaaaaaah. Waaaaaaaaaah."

Heather said to me in the bed, "Just wait a little while longer to see if he really starts crying."

"Waaaaaaaah. Waaaaaaaah. Waaaaaaaaaah. Waaaaaaaaaah."

Pause.

Pause.

"uh, Da Da!"

Pause.

I couldn't believe it. He said Da Da!!!

Then he started crying again. But I'm positive he said Da Da specifically to call out to me or his mother to get his butt out of the crib.

That's a smart kid. Cuz, since he said "Da Da" I was ready to get him.

AWESOME!

We gave him a bottle and he went back to bed. I went back to bed with a smile on my face!
