Happy Halloween
Ive been watching "spooky" Halloween stories on tv all morning. I don't buy any of it. I wish I could believe in ghosts and spirits but I'm just to practical. I dont believe in souls, so how can I believe in spirits? It's the same thing. I do believe in energies. Everything alive creates energy, so we could emit some kind that we are not aware of. Anyways, I made a funny realization...real or not, poltergeists only fuck with catholics. What is it about catholicism and daemons? Most of them are half-way wacky anyways.
If you believe in Jesus, you probably can conjure up Satan in your living room. Tyler and I were watching the 700 club today, and this lady was talking about ghosts in her house. A priest came and told her that she needed to accept Jesus Christ into her heart and all of the haunting would stop. And apparently, the haunting ceased! Halelja! Jesus is the cure all saint!!! I just figured there was a rat making all that ruckus in the basement and it stopped because it died, but whatever.
Having christ in your heart is supposed to give you authority over the evil spirits. Well, what about real people? If you have a shotgun held to your head, your murderer isn't going to listen to your "authority". I have never been afraid of ghosts. I am more afraid of walking home alone, crossing paths with the infamous, windowless white van. Anyways, Happy Halloween. Have fun.
