HEADLINE: Two killed in one-vehicle crash

A motorist discovered a fatal one-vehicle accident nearly five hours after it happened when an injured passenger pulled himself up an embankment.
State police said alcohol and speed may have been factors in the crash Tuesday around 2:30 a.m. outside Hancock, in rural Delaware County near the Pennsylvania border.
Killed were the driver, 25-year-old Christopher Cloppas of San Antonio, Texas, and front-seat passenger Dina Goldstone, 19, of Wynnewood, Pa.
Robbie Porter, 22, of Glasgow, Scotland, had a broken leg and other injuries but crawled up to the highway, where a motorist spotted him around 7:20 a.m. He w! as hospitalized in fair condition.
State police said the car went off the shoulder and down an embankment, striking several trees and stopping about 30 feet from the road.
All three were wearing seat belts, but Cloppas was partially ejected. They were believed to be on their way to a performing arts camp in Hancock.
