I'm an academic researcher, and I study writing, learning, and new media. Or, at least, that's the current plan. Newly out of grad school and trying to sort out what comes next.
Almost all of my public entries are political rants, news stories, action items, or similar. Nearly everything that is personal is friends-locked. Much of my life is fairly public as a result of the facebook-ization of education research, and I don't really trust people who Google well.
