In other news, I am so sick of politics I can't even see straight. I wonder if, after 2 November, I will be able to read the news without becoming violently distraught or angry. One day, I hope that people come to their collective senses and demand something resembling fact and sense from their politicians. I would like to be the leader of that movement, unlikely though it may be.
But of course, the Red Sox also won the Series - wahoo! - so I suppose that all sorts of curse-breaking is possible.
