we were going to surrender pandora to the michigan humane society last night, but i called them on the way there, and the guy basically told me that if she's not using the litter box 100% of the time (which she isn't, but does any cat, really?), she'll be put down. so, of course, i started absolutely bawling, and we turned around.
there are multiple reasons we were going to give her up, but the most pressing was the fact that we had to take will's cat, latte, last night. which we ended up doing anyway. so now we have three cats for the time being. i don't know what we're going to do, but i can't stand the thought of pandora being euthanized. the time and money i've spent on her was to keep her healthy and safe, not to give up on her and let them kill her. i guess it's back to the drawing board on that.
