"I don't understand why we can't go back to my place," Jun said in an exasperated voice, crossing his arms over his chest.

The Countdown has just ended and thus, all those colorful costumes were replaced with tuxes and sensible-looking ties. In front of Jun, with a scowl on his face, was Ryo. Around them, various members of the Jimusho were either chatting happily or drinking different alcoholic drinks. It seemed unbelievable that these two people can look so annoyed and frustrated while the people around them looked the complete opposite.

"Because we went there the last time," Ryo reasoned, his voice containing the same frustration that Jun's has. "We're supposed to go to my place this time,"

"But you said it was dirty!"

"I didn't say that--"

"You said something like, 'The cans from the other night's party were still there,'"

"That doesn't mean it isn't clean!"

"That's exactly what it means!"

"Ryo-chan," a foreign voice interrupted their passionate discussion. Both men looked up and saw Yamapi (who was being followed by Nino and who, in turn, was being followed by Ohno) looking unsure. Ryo gave him a look that clearly asked what his problem was. And it also told him that his intrusion was most unwelcome. "Can I speak to you for a moment?"

As Yamapi dragged Ryo to a more private place also known as a place far from Jun, Nino and Ohno neared Arashi's DoS Banchou. Of course, Jun didn't miss that last look Ryo threw at him before completely disappearing into the crowd. This discussion was far from over.

"I see you got a bit over the top there," Nino raised his eyebrow just slightly, not too obvious but just enough to provoke Jun a little further.

"You were eavesdropping?" Jun asked, his voice raising. Which it seems, was what Nino wanted.

"You two were pretty loud," Ohno informed. The horrified look on Jun's face was priceless. "Everyone's just too busy to pay attention to you too."

"I thought you and Nishikido-kun got along well," Nino said casually, leaning against a nearby chair.

"We do. We get along fine. But his room needs to be cleaned in a major way,"

"Well, he's a boy," Ohno said in-a-matter-of-fact-ly.

"What a surprise, so am I, Riida." Jun replied with quite a large amount of sarcasm included. Ohno shrugged.

"Don't let him get under your skin, Jun-chan," Nino grinned and placed a hand on Jun's shoulder. "Use your charms to get what you want,"

There were a lot of times when Jun asks why he and Nino got along. It was these times that answer those questions. And then, it seemed like all of Jun's anger was gone and was replaced by something else. Arashi's youngest gave his two bandmates a sly smile that evidently said what he intended to do when Ryo comes back.

"Why were you so upset?" Yamapi asked worriedly, once he got Ryo in a deserted spot. Ryo took his time in answering that Yamapi had managed to greet three of his sempais while waiting.

"He said my room was dirty,"

"Well, it is dirty, Ryo-chan." NewS' leader reminded him gently. "Matsumoto-san is our sempai and you get along with him so well, it's such a shame that you two will fight over a simple thing."

"B-but--" Ryo tried to reason but Yamapi had that "I'm know I'm right" look. "Oh all right. I'll apologize. But I really wanted him to come over to my place!"

Jun watched as Ryo and Yamapi returned from their little chat. Ryo was looking more agreeable now and this made Jun more excited to get back to their previous conversation. When Ryo was about six steps away, Yamapi seemed to have spotted someone he knew--it looked like it was Toma--and left Ryo.

At four steps away, Jun ran the details through his head, convinced that he can make Ryo change his mind using the techniques he knew. Ryo was slightly delayed by some members of NewS and Jun got waylaid as well by some of his sempais and kouhais. But finally, Ryo reached Jun.

"Anou sa--" Jun began, his eyes containing that certain confidence that only he had as well as a hint of excitement that made it obvious that he was enjoying himself as well.

"I'm sorry," the Sexy Osaka Man (and don't you forget it!) chirped happily. Too happily.

"What?" This wasn't part of the plan. Ryo was supposed to need more convincing! How-- What-- Who--

"I said I'm sorry," Ryo repeated, the big smile still on his face. "Let's go to your place,"

"Why did you suddenly change your mind?"

"Well, I didn't want to fight," Ryo shrugged, looking away to hide the small blush that was rising up his cheeks.

Jun chuckled, thinking that they resembled a couple, somehow. He placed an arm around Ryo and grinned.

"All right. We'll go to my place then." Jun announced. "But it'll be your turn to cook our midnight snack,"

It's past midnight, Ryo thinks but doesn't say it out loud. Instead, he says "What? It's your turn to cook!"

"No. It's yours."

"I did it twice in a row once, remember? It's your turn now."

This went on until they reached Jun's car. Even though along the way, Jun acted all pissed off that Ryo wouldn't cook for him (for the both of them, really), he was inwardly glad because he can use Nino's advice after all. And you can bet that by the time they reach hs place, Jun will have Ryo agreeing to cook for him. Jun was used to getting his way, after all.
