Literally. This cold had gotten into my lungs, so I've been coughing mucus the whole day, attempting to breathe in some way, shape or form. I got up this morning feeling like there was a knife stuck down my throat. So starting at 9am this morning, I was drowning myself with herbal tea, and herbal suppliments. Whoohoo. Fun. Although I have to admit, camomile with honey feels really, really, really good on the throat. It's better than constantly shoving cough drops in my mouth. >.<
So at one, my mother dragged me over to Whitney High for the football game between Sierra College and American River. You have to understand, the football coach at Sierra is my weight training instructor, so I felt personally connected to this game (the last game, of all things. I thought I was going to pop an artery...), AND on of the players is in my Psychology class. So my mother felt the need for us to go. And I went.
Oh! And Sierra lost. Go figure. Coach yelled humself hoarse (I don't understand why he hasn't had a heart attack yet), and the refs made some calls on Sierra that were complete BULL SHIT.
Gaaaaah!! My nose kept running, and I continued jamming cough drops down my throat. It was rather windy, which didn't help matters.
And now I'm exausted. I'm like, "Waaah? I have to go to CHURCH in the morning?" It's not like I have a reason to go... I will SO not be able to sing in the choir with this lovely frog.
But, out of the goodness of my heart, and the lack of common sense in my brain at the moment, I will go. I have a meeting at two anyway. I hate being responsible sometimes.
Oh! I looked up movie times. The fucking movie isn't showing at Olympus Pointe, it's showing at Century Roseville. Gah. Freaks. So it's 3:30 or 7pm, or, at Aurburn Stadium, 3:20 and 7. Big difference eh? My mother wants to go to Auburn, for a variety of reasons.
Also, my church is having a thanksgiving dinner on the 17th. You may come if you like. There's always good pie, which is the main reason for going. Well, that and the werid people. ^_^ Tis at 6:30 (A Thursday, obviously). Let me know about either event, movie, or dinner, so I can implant it in my memory. Otherwise, my mind will go play hookey. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
thanksgiving,
sick
