MEMES -flail-

Leave me a comment and I will give you a letter.
Then, write 10 things that you love starting with that letter.
Post the list in your journal.

Kitteh gave me K, because “Your fantastic linguistic abilities should cope well and provide me lots of giggles.” So like, no pressure or anything.

1) Kiwi: This could technically be two entries, because I love the fruit and the animal (and I especially love the animated video featuring the animal). But I fear someone will start yelling at me. So! Tangy and sweet with a biting aftertaste, and a furry exterior with colorful insides. The fruit, you sickos, not the animal.
2) Kaleidoscopes: Who seriously didn't love these as a kid? I could play with one for hours. It's also kind of the prelude to get you prepared for later experiences in life, namely getting high. Not that I would know, of course, but it's still a theory of mine.
3) Kilts. My mother has said this often and I have to agree; there is rarely anything sexier than a man in a kilt.
4) Kaput. Nothing else to say really; I just like the word. Say it. Come on, you know you want to... “Kaput.” … “Kaputkaputkaputkaput.”
5) Kazoo: There is almost no better way to annoy your parents (or anyone else, for that matter) than getting a hold of one of these babies and just blowing. Poking, of course, is another well founded method, but it doesn't start with a K.
6) Kittens: Come on, you didn't see that one coming? http://cuteoverload.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/blanco.jpg Click it and weep. With joy, because it's just so gosh darned cute.
7) Kinnell, Galway: is an American poet I enjoy a lot. His work abandoned formal verse and structure, and has quite a free-flowing expressiveness that I like. “Vapor Trail Reflected in the Frog Pond” is one of my favourites; the distinct imagery paints a wonderful mood and a sort of heavy dreaminess.
8) Kermit the frog. 'Nuff said.
9) Kidjo, Angélique: Beninese singer-songwriter. I absolutely LOVE her music. I can listen to Fifa on repeat for hours, and I use it for yoga regularly.
10) Kathy's Song: One of my favourite Simon & Garfunkel songs of all time. The simple poetry that tumbles from the music never ceases to astound me.
