That is such a fabulous scarf. I really must do more in that pattern, possibly even a shawl or lap blanket now that I know I can crank out a 60-inch strip in 2 weekends. 3 skeins of baby alpaca, #8 needles, 29 stitch cast on - an edge stitch on either side and 27 stitches in this pattern: K2, P1. Edge knitting first stitch of each row through back loop; before last stitch bring yarn forward as if to purl, then slip last stitch as if to knit. (The only chain edge that doesn't fall off my needles.)
