I've got to learn to leave the LFL alone for a couple of days to do its thing, but I can't resist going back out there to see what turnover is happening, what notes are left. People have been in it - the Star Trek, Next Gen book had been shoved to the back (I pulled it front again, if for no other reason than to keep it from getting wet as the rains threaten to move back in.) The audio book has left. It was a horror/thriller from my reviewing days that I didn't want to touch; with the leaving of Smoke and Mirrors a few days ago I'm thinking that someone in the neighborhood is a horror fan. I don't have a lot of horror on tap, nor do I tend to see it at the Book Thing, but I'll try to keep an eye out.
And while I think audiobooks are just as good as reading, the Book Thing does not tend to carry them, so I'm not sure where I can get low-cost/no-cost stock for that. But I'll look around and cross my fingers. With my audio habits, it's to my advantage to get those circulating in the hopes that new ones will come to me. I wonder if I should tuck out one or two of the Big Finish Doctor Whos that I wanted to sell?
I've also got another note. "Thank you for reminding us that good things happen in the world too." That made me tear up a little bit.
