(no subject)
I suppose I should put something here. The biggest change recently is my cat.
Her name is currently Stitch, but it's still not set in stone. Can't seem to decide, honestly. She's roughly a year old tortoise shell. I got her from the SPCA about a week ago. Picked her up from the spay and neuter clinic. Her first day she was drunk and confused and panicky. When I first let her out of her carrier she bolted, first into the bathroom to jump into the bathtub, then come flying out, using my shoulder as a spring board, and hiding under my bed. She stayed there for a day and a half before I coaxed her out and picked her up, held her, showed her I wasn't going to eat her and all that. She didn't eat for the first four days, so she had a trip to the vet. SubQ water hydration, and antibiotics. She's started eating, and gotten MUCH more active. I thought I was finally, over a week after I got her, over the worst of the new kitty trauma. Today I was blessed with the sight of a little white worm wriggling in her bum. SO! Kitty has worms. Somehow got past their tests i guess. Next trip to the vet will be for de-worming and other such fun. My biggest concern is really that she's been sleeping in my bed ever since she decided I wasn't the devil, and now I'm going to have to start checking my drawers for stow-aways. That and she can't sleep with me for a while which means she's going to be making a racket all night. Bah. On the bright side, that seems to be the only issue left, and it's easily dealt with.
Aside from that ... I now have enough equipment to do some basic portraits and the like. Time to get cracking. I've dropped WoW for the time being, and moved on to Age of Conan, also for the time being. I've started cooking much more, and my job is ... mostly just boring. I heard Kung Fu Panda was good, maybe I'll go see that this weekend.
