My class that was supposed to start on the 11th was cancelled today.

I do not mind, really, but a part of me is dissapointed; I would have liked to get some experience in a classroom.  I wanted to get my foot in the door at a college, as well.

My hope lies in Newburgh, now.  (uuuggghhhh)  But.  It is still a hope.

Tomorrow is finally Friday.  This week was dull, I am glad it is over.  I worked out for three days this week and for tomorrow afternoon I plan to nap and then do yoga until I cannot bend anymore.

Saturday my car gets new blood (oil change) and I am going to finally drop off the clothes I packed up to donate.  After that will surely be room cleaning (vacuum, dusting, maybe more detailed) and bringing in my hockey gear from the garage for the purpose of cleaning it off.  If I find one spider, the screams will be loud and long.

And much reading will be done this weekend, as well.

Finally, of course, Sunday Night brings the Superbowl!  I hope for a good game.  I expect entertaining commericals.  I anticipate an awesome Half-Time Show by The Stones.  Hurray for the game of all games!

Ah, the weekend.

"What is the most precious, the most exciting smell awaiting you in the house when you return to it after a dozen years or so? The smell of roses, you think? No, moldering books."

quote series, hockey, superbowl, rest, weekend
