I am officially in the education world! I have been hired by two school districts!
So far, I am working two days next week and one day the week after. I am set up online and I have some contacts in one of the schools, so I know I will be working more soon enough.
This transition is perfect! My last day as a receptionist is tomorrow and I start my career on Monday!
I took a gamble resiging when I did, but I had a good feeling when I wrote the letter. I was officially terrified on Tuesday night, but then yesterday things began to fall into place. Today marked my second hire and I am very excited.
I will be in not one, but two school districts; I do not have to work every day which makes more room for school work; my commute has been reduced by 20 miles.
