Quiet Sunday
I did not play paintball today. I relaxed in the morning, worked out in the afternoon, relaxed some more, then Michelle and I went to get some dinner at the Mexican food place on 22 this evening. The food was very good and the service was really quite surprising.
I went there on a date earlier this summer, and so I already knew that the quality of the establishment. However, I was not prepared for an appetizer on the house. Or for the free dessert after we had received the check.
Let me say that I was never a fan of fried icecream, but theirs was very good.
Pirates is on! I will be watching that and reading Lolita (what a book; yikes) during the commercials. In addition, maybe chatting with a friend way out there on the other coast; who knows.
Speaking of Pirates, that commodore Norrington I really like that guy. I feel quite bad that he doesn't get the girl because he had many admirable qualities. Except for that whole inattention to detail when she was passing out on the cliff.
The damn Yankees finally won one. I am not surprised, they were just running a marathon of games and came off a damn 5-game series SWEEP of the Sox. And they are still 5 games up. I can live with a poor road trip under those conditions.
