Finally Healthy Again
As of Saturday or so, I'm finally healthy again. I have the occassional wet cough still, and bits and pieces of infection in my nasal passages, but the cough is something that I had for a year back when I lived in Jefferson and the infection is chronic, so that's about as healthy as I can expect to get.
I didn't really sleep last night, due to my own stupidity. This wouldn't have bothered me in itself, but I also had Deinna get really upset with me (though it's the first time in 2.5 weeks, so at least it's been a while). This lead to me getting into the office by about 7am in a rather annoyed-with-the-world state... we'll see how long I last before the desire for sleep leaves me snoring in my office chair.
If I'm lucky, it'll happen *before* I'm supposed to go game tonight... I get the feeling I'm going to have to caffinate my way through it regardless.
I still have $30 available in my Tech Credit Union account. I think I may have to finally pull it out today, because I don't think I'm going to be in the mood to eat Goldfish for lunch. But, according to emails that accumulated at the end of last week, I will see a sudden influx of cash soon. This will, of course, be followed by a sucking sound as I pay rent, bills, schedule appointments with doctors, buy Deinna lots of meals to make up for her taking care of my food needs the past week (which were, admittedly, lessened by my sickness)... but, hopefully, even after all that, there'll be enough left to start rebuilding my nest egg again.
I have a Digital design project I have to have wired by Wendsday night. I get this feeling this means I'm going to be missing Spiel Wendsday night, especially since I also have to write up said project's report by Thursday noon.
I think it's unlikely that I'm ever going to write a short post, but I don't really think it'd be very useful (or attractive) to just make every post a link. If only all the world had 21" monitors to view the web through...
