Summer Downloads
I've been trying to get myself back into the swing of things recently. I'm steadily working on my update and hope to have it out before the end of the month. I've also been organizing my downloads, trimming things and filling in the blanks. I've been hording a goodly amount of things and decided it was high time I shared.
All meshes are included for your convenience.
Christmas in July for Beadqueene
First off, I participated in the Christmas in July exchange at GOS. My giftee was Beadqueene who listed men's clothing and bright colors as some of her likes. I decided to use that to kick start some meshing projects, and made four new meshes.
The first two are a combination of the H&M Tie shirt and Aikea's jeans in both teen and adult. There are several eye popping bright shirts as well as more 'normal' shirts all with brightly patterned ties. There are also three outfits that are from the original Maxis outfits.

The next two meshes are a combination of the surfer outfit from TSS/AL and the jeans from Amaryll's OFB suit conversion. There are seven brightly colored shirts, seven desaturated shirts and three maxis shirts, all with black jeans. The outfits come in Teen and Adult.

Casual Day
In conjunction with the secret santa gift I also did four recolors of the sneakertie meshes based off of babbelpixel H&M recolors

Fake Street Cred
As always the Secret Santa sharing thread is full of awesome items. One of the things that immediately jumped out at me were the separated base game sweatshirts that Yuxi made for MrSullivan. I smoothed out some of the textures and made a bunch of bright recolors using Aelia's Autumn color actions (yes Jenn learned how to push buttons!). Because I am unable to pick and choose which colors I want until I've seen them all I ended up with twenty recolors each for the Male and Female sweatshirts. [There are some clipping issues with this mesh and combining it with some maxis jeans will cause overlapping textures. All of the custom jeans that I have tried have worked well.]

I don't have a good preview of the jeans that the girls are wearing in the above picture but I wanted to share them anyway. Quite awhile ago I copied Aikea textures on to Migamoo's skinnies so that I would have another option of pants with pregnancy morphs. I didn't really think about sharing them until I was packaging up my sims for the family tree and realized just how many of the women were wearing them. Tucked and untucked version in Aikea's stonewash, black, pinstripe and buckles.

On a related note I also transferred some jeans textures to Aikea's Elder Male jeans. Three textures, black, stonewash and maxis blue.

More stuff for elders; this time for the ladies. Ten recolors of an All About Style sweater and jeans. Recolors range from Pookleted brights to Aelia retros (I was trying out various action sets).

Alien Pregnancy Care Package
Aquilegia is becoming one of my favorite people to stalk. This outfit is a combination of two of her creations. First off she made a seperated H&M forge shirt in some nice bright colors and then she added morphs to a few Club Crimsyn meshes. When I was looking for outfits that a few of my men could wear when pregnant I combined the two. There are four recolors and because I'm a bit of a completest I also pasted the textures onto a teen conversion.

Simply Smexy
Last clothing item is a simple recolor. There's a simple white tee and jeans outfit by Aikea that's so sexy I'm always wanting to put it on a guy until I remember how many other guys are wearing it. I decided that it needed some recolors. Nine of them, and again I tossed them on the teen conversion as well.

I kept seeing these posters by Natia128 in various people's businesses and houses, and wondering how I had missed them! I went searching for them and realized that the reason I didn't have them was because they were on a custom mesh. I obviously don't have problems with custom meshes, but I only want ones that have LOTS of recolors so that I don't have bunches of stuff that can only be used in a few ways. But I really liked the posters, so I transferred them to the UNI surfin the universe mesh. And then because they were advertising I ripped them up and put them on AG's half wall wall writing mesh as well. Yeah I know took them off one custom mesh just to put them on another but I have lots of recolors of the AG one already :P

Hair?
If I'm ever known for anything, it won't be for hair, and it most definitely won't be for hair texturing. I'm not going to start posting a bunch of hairs but I did want to share a project I'm working on. I've gotten really addicted to having matching hair colors and I'm loving that so many people are pookleting various meshes. The thing is that mostly what is seen are brand new meshes and as usual older hairs are being forgotten. There are still some older hairs and some Maxis meshes that I use regularly but they really stick out in the middle of my sea of pooklet. I'm really too lazy to learn to use the warp tool and do textures. I'm also too lazy to push buttons for all the known colors in the universe, but I can push buttons and do basic recolors in my preferred naturals (Dynamite, Depth Charge, Incendiary, Pyrotechnic and Mailbomb).
Most of the preview sims in today's file dump are sporting my recolors. I have folders on both my photobucket and box accounts with the various recolors that I've done thus far. I had some up previously but I wasn't really happy with them and I've worked at getting the process down a bit better. I wanted to point out in particular the ones labeled Tlkaska, these are simple re-textures and/or alpha edits of Maxis meshes that I have used and abused for years and still love. Basic short hair for men <3. I've always been a little down that her hairs weren't available for all ages and so as part of this project I transferred the edits to all age conversions.
