Summer in Familiarity - 3.1
I haven't been around much, bad week, bad month, bad year, etc..; I haven't really felt like staging or writing. Lately, I've really just felt like playing. So that's what I've done. Since almost everything in the next few updates will take place either in the UNI hood or in a dummy hood, I went ahead and got started on the main hood Summer rotation.
Keeping with tradition I'm going to do an around the hood who's who throughout the Summer. Today I have the first seven houses in the hood. None of these houses are all that important storyline wise though each is of course related in it's own way. I'll post more as I make my way around the hood.
House One - Indie/Thorne
The Indie home is the first house in my normal rotation. Typical of houses in Familiarity it's on a 3x3 lot, has four bedrooms, three baths, a full basement, carport and large garden. There's plenty of room for the multi-generational family that lives within.

Dante - Fortune/Pop Perma plat multi times over currently stalled out at 5 top businesses (not gonna happen). He's a Visionary.
Dierdra- Fortune/Family Perma plat multi times over currently stalled out at graduate three (again, not gonna happen). She's a City Planner
Dante and Deirdra have two sons, Emlen and Emilio. We'll get to Emlen later in the rotation.
Youngest son Emilio recently graduated from university and moved home with his fiance Starla Thorne. In an effort to diversify the last names in the hood Emilio took Starla's last name.
Emilio is Fortune/Pleasure with a lifetime want to be a Business Tycoon. On the last day of Summer Emilio reached his LTW and now wants to be an Icon.
Starla is Family/? she wants to have six grandchildren. I'll see what happens there. I'm currently setting all family sims that don't have a three kid want to 2 children Ideal Family size. If they end up with two kids then six grandchildren might be difficult with current population cap strategies. I may re-roll her later on. She joined the family with a job in journalism and is sticking to that currently.

The Indie/Thorne's currently have two dogs Roly and Beebee. Roly is the poodle, Beebee isn't. Beebee just grew up from a puppy and the two potential mates are still getting to know each other.
At the very start of Summer Caleb Indie was still living. He passed away on the first night. Caleb was the father of three children and with daughter Deanna's (Capp) large brood the Grandfather of ten. He was one of the few remaining Generation fives left in the hood at the start of summer.
The afternoon following his grandfather's death, Emilio and Starla were wed in an outdoor ceremony. Extended family, including siblings; Aunts, Uncles and cousins attended the ceremony to help the couple celebrate.
Unsurprisingly, it didn't take long for a baby to be on the way.
Before the baby could be born, the Grandparents had to start looking a bit more like Grandparents. While not everyone in generation six is ready to elder, there will be quite a few elderfications happening over the summer. Currently, I'm allowing all of generation six to remain on elixir until their eldest child has graduated from University. There may be some exceptions to this, as I do want the generation six first circle to elder in the proper storyline order.
Keeping with Indie male tradition, Dante immediately ate too much cake and became an unfit elder. I wasn't quite ready for him to be pudgy so he was sent to the treadmill for one last workout. Seeing as he's lazy and sloppy, I'm sure that the thin won't last long.
While they waited for their spawn to arrive, Emilio finished up the last of the logic points he would need for his lifetime want, while Starla stalked him pretending to bird watch in the middle of the night.
The stargazing worked and Emilio was soon perma plat for the first time.
Because sims will be sims, Starla gave birth to their first son in the smallest bathroom of the house. While the general naming theme for the hood is no longer in place, each household has it's own loose naming theme. Keeping with the Italian name theme of the household the baby was named Mario. With his blond hair and blue eyes, doesn't look very Italian. Then again his name makes me think of race car drivers more than anything else.
Emilio's Grandmother, Pamela, was nice enough to let him put the baby in the crib before she offered her congratulations. Ghosts may become an issue in the hood this generation. Some households have quite a few and not all of them are very nice. I'm currently working on setting up a graveyard to move everyone too if it becomes necessary.
Caleb brought a cold home from work and so Mario ended up with a smallish birthday celebration for his toddler tossing.
Mario Thorne-

My game is currently enjoying tossing out mutant type personality stats. Unlike his Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather Mario won't slouch and despite his Grandmother's creepy nice smile he'll enjoy tormenting the younger sibling to be born in the fall.
Household Two - Dreamer/Gavigan
Again a typical four bedroom, three bath home on a 3x3 lot. It has a full basement, car park, large yard with a garden and a small lake.

Living in the home are Drago and Andrea (Bruty) Dreamer.
Drago - Fortune/Knowledge Perma plat a few times currently wants to be hand of Poseidon, but is working as a Space Pirate.
Andrea - Family/Popularity waiting for Golden Anniversary and is a city planner. Andrea is a former cheerleader but due to the rebuild no longer dons her llama costume while roaming the hood.
The couple have three sons: Ellic who recently graduated and moved home and twins Edcel and Ebe who will be graduating at the end of Summer. The twins are each engaged to distant cousins.
Eldest son Ellic and husband Nathan Gavigan are living with them
Ellic - Fortune/Family and like his father wants to be Hand of Poseidon. He spent most of the rotation trying to the proper job and finally on the last day of summer I cheated him into Oceanography. With so many job options trying to get the right one to appear can be extremely frustrating. I tend to let them look for a rotation before pulling out the blender and cheating.
Nathan - Fortune/? working on being in the Hall of Fame

They share their home with three cats. Kinsey who grew up from a kitten during the summer.
And her parents: Hope and Baggy.
They also have quite a few ghosts including line founder, legacy spare Barbie (Familiar) Dreamer. Barbie, like many of my ghosts has had her cc deleted and has been forced into odd default clothing. This does not always make for happy ghosts.
Rotation started with wedding, which was soon followed by pregnancy. While male pregnancy is possible in Familiarity, it hasn't really been discussed cannon wise. There will be a cannon explanation coming soon for Egeus and Frances.
I'm still deciding if I wish to move Nathan's son, Isaiah, in with the family. If I do so it will be before the new baby is a child as Isaiah should be older.
Because Andrea wasn't yet perma plat we had to fulfill a bunch of little wants prior to her birthday. Luckily after being chased by bees several times she was able to catch a bug which allowed her to roll up a few friends wants and get fully plat.
They then invited the twins and their fiances over for Drago and Andrea's birthday party. Between the loss of hair and skanky elder clothing there was a desperate need for quick makeovers.
When Rebecca Gavigan was born I wasn't able to remember what the naming theme in the household was. I ended up going with a Hebrew name since both her father (Nathan) and half brother (Isaiah) have Hebrew names. I later decided that the previous theme was based on space explorers or space related scientists. We'll possibly let one of the twins take over that theme. Rebecca also ends up being named after her Great-Grandmother, Rebecca (Hiatt), the vampire that married Bade Dreamer.
I'm not sure if Baggy is being protective of Rebecca or if he's wondering why she's lucky enough to have her own bed. Sometimes multiple pets leads to a scarcity of floor space and while there are plenty of pet beds in the house the cats sometimes end up sleeping on people beds or in the doghouse out back.
It was a week of parties and we combined Rebecca's birthday with her grandparent's Golden Anniversary in order to get Andrea perma plat. The twins came in from UNI and Drago's own twin brother, Draco, along with wife Danya joined the festivities.
As often happens; Edcel and his fiance, Buffy Familiar, missed most of the party. Buffy had been slated to live with her parents for this season but due to previous hot tub activities she was moved to her own home. I didn't want her giving birth before her future husband could graduate.
Rebacca Gavigan apparently didn't need Uncle Edcel to watch her grow up well.

House Three Familiar
From the outside this is one of my favorite houses. Originally from Pet Stories I've added on and changed it a bit but I still like the look of it. I added on an extra room above the back porch in order to give it the standard four bedrooms, three baths.
It's a good thing I like the house, since I like the sims that live in it very much.

Inside we've got Darlene and Daffodil (Dreamer) Familiar.
Darlene Pop/Knowledge - Perma plat currently a Captain Hero, would like to be a Rock God(dess)
Daffodil Pop/Fortune - Perma plat but currently unemployed due to a bad chance card. Cheated her a job in Athletics (LTW) last day of adulthood so that she would have a job.
Darlene and Daffodil have one son, Evander.
Evander recently graduated from University and moved home along with his wife Elise (Nova).
Evander - Pleasure / ? - Wants to be Professional Party Guest. Accomplished that and now wants to be a game designer.
Elise - Pop / Knowledge? - Wants to be The Law
I haven't chosen secondaries for either of them yet since they each suit their primaries so well. We'll see what happens over the next few rotations.

Daffodil is the spore child of Tara (Livingston) Dreamer. Tara was married to Darren (spouse of Barbie) Dreamer 's Alien son, Banard.
And yes it is a very interesting family tree.
The very first thing that happened at this house was the death of Sadie Familiar. Sadie was first Chris' wife, but after his death she was Dwight's last 'steady' girlfriend. Sadie was the mother of Dannon and Darlene, and the grandmother of Elani, Emily and Evander.
The afternoon following Sadie's death, Evander and Elise were married. Soon after the wedding, a lullaby was heard and so everyone sat back to await the next generation.
Evander got to experience attempting to fix a trash compactor with only four mechanical points.
Darlene didn't do much better with ten. It was eventually deleted and replaced. I guess they could have called a repairman but, meh I don't normally do that especially since no one wanted to call one.
Since both Darlene and Daffodil are pops they got to have an actual real party for their birthdays. Lots of friends came over to help them celebrate the graying of hair and the sagging of boobs. Several ghosts decided to stop in a give their own well wishes.
The next day Darlene brought home The Headmaster - Korey Jimakusol as her hobby friend. Soon after I discovered that she'd used her invisibility super power (notice the floating wedding ring). I've had this issue before, also with an elder, female, Captain Hero bringing a hobby friend home.
The only way I've really found to fix it is to send the sim to another lot. So Darlene and Daffodil walked over to the neighborhood bistro for a dinner date. After they returned home, Darlene was switched to the Music career path in order to hopefully avoid the situation in the future and to pursue her next LTW.
When they got back it was baby time! I admit it, I reloaded. With three red hair genes in play I felt red hair deserved to show up. It only took one reload for Lottie to have red hair.
Sunday rolled around and with it family day. Elise's parents, siblings and sibling's significant others came by to play Sims3.
While the family was there, they got to see a toddler tossing. Denise is the youngest of the direct line generation six first circle and yet she's the first to be a grandmother.
Lottie looks a bit angular at this point, but I think she'll grow into her features. Evander was very pointy as a toddler and Lottie gets a lot of her features from Daddy.

House Four - London
The London house looks larger than it really is. Typical of neighborhood homes it has the standard four bedrooms, basement, carport, garden and pond. There's a playroom on top that adds an extra bath and a bit more space but it's fairly similar to other homes in the hood.

Currently in the home we have Dean and Delta (Indie) Familiar. Dean is the only sim of generation seven that I worked at becoming a plantsim. I had quite a few in generation six and wasn't planning on that many more but for various reasons I changed my mind and encouraged him becoming one.
Dean Knowledge/Fortune - Currently wants to be Eco-Guru, is a Hand of Poseidon.
Delta Family/Pop - Wants a Golden Anniversary, is a Captain Hero.

The primary reason is that while Dean and Delta have three children, I wasn't very happy with the future housing situation and I wanted someone of the direct line to be able to take it over. Eldest son Edward, a romancer, will be moving to the party house. The younger girls, Edith and Eowyn are twins and are so close that I can't see separating them once they are settled. Since Eowyn is a family sim with a three child lifetime want, they will need a house that can hold quite a few people.
Hence, Dean became a plant sim and spored Eucalyptus who is shown here with each of the family's three cats (Callie, Sweets and Salem.) As a toddler Eucalyptus spent most of his time harassing the three kitties.
He harassed them to the point that I had to order them to eat and sleep. Salem is the current heir of the neighborhood Cat line, being the direct descendant of Al and Robin's original pair.
The kids came in from University for their brother's treeing and spent some time getting to know him. Edward and Eucalyptus didn't seem to have much in common but he quickly became friends with the girls.
Eucalyptus may be a clone of his father 10/9/9/1/1 but he has a few oddities. Dean shows as a Scorpio but Lyp is a Virgo. He's also the only meanie in the family . All three of the elder London kids are creepy 10 point smiling mutants.
Lyp rolled Knowledge and wants to be a Journalist. I haven't decided if he will stay a plant for long or if I'll have him cured. He's max in skills already and may be a bit boring if he stays a plant.
It worked out fine for summer, he spent his nights helping Dad in the garden and meeting his ancestors. The ghosts at the London home may be the first to be moved, several of them are uptight over a missing bed.
Now that he is an adult Lyp seemed quite eager to get on with life. Frankly I feel he's a bit too young to settle down, but the day after his treeing Dean brought a friend home from work that Lyp had multiple bolts with. Interestingly enough she's Fortune which generally isn't that great a match for Knowledge. We'll let him meet a few more people and see what happens over the next few rotations.
House Five - Tan
The Tans house is almost ready for the next generation. I may need to do some remodeling in order to get it a bit more playable for multi generations but that will come later on. For now there are three bedrooms and three baths. There is a basement but it hasn't been finished yet. Since the heir apparent has not yet graduated University or moved home, there was only one day of play in this house.

Damien Fortune/Family - Perma plat, current LTW is to have 5 top businesses (not gonna happen). Is a business tycoon.
Don - Family/Knowledge - Perma plat, recently gave up a long time career as a Captain Hero in order to join the SCIA.
Damien and Don currently share the home with two cats, Danny and Alabama. Once Eldon is home we'll most likely have kittens.
Damien and Don have two children, Elysia who recently graduated and moved to the girls party house and son Eldon who I believe is a junior at FSU. Eldon is engaged to Eric Swain from Sim State.
When a household is on short rotation, I try to invite their kids over for an evening of bonding, so Elysia and Eldon stopped by to see their Dads
However the two spent most of the evening hanging out in the hot tub with Darcy and Daria.
House Six - London
Another four bedroom, three bath typical Familiarity home. I have a few issues with where the stairs are located so I may do some revamping in the fall but it's worked well for multiple generations up until this point.

This London house is the home of Douglas and Tosha. Since son Ewan is still at University they only got the one day of play.
Douglas - Fortune/Family Perma Plat, wants to be a prestidigitator but is currently a City Planner.
Tosha - Fortune/Knowledge - Perma Plat, wants to earn 100k and is currently a Hostage Negotiator.
The family have two cats, Jarge and Sue, who will most likely be breeding during upcoming rotations.
Son Ewan is a Senior at FSU. Ewan is still a bit confused romantically, but hopefully things will become clear soonish. I have the feeling that if it doesn't his fiance will be more than happy to straighten him out. She's done so in the past.
While he has his moments of denseness Ewan's a very nice boy and well he loves his Momma!
House Seven - Smith
The Smith house isn't the best laid out inside but I do like the outside. If the current generation stops with only one child the house will be fine, however if they have more children we may remodel. Currently it's a three bedroom, two bath making it a bit smaller than other houses.

Living in the home we have Dolcelatte (London) and Matthew Smith. Since this is the second season that their eldest son has been home they eldered in the Spring.
Matthew - Knowledge/Fortune - Former Garden Clubber aged down to marry Dolcey recently returned to elderhood. Permaplat several times. Currently wants to finish maxing his skills.
Dolcelatte - Family/Grilled Cheese. Perma Plat, currently wants to graduate three kids from University and that isn't going to happen. She's a Celebrity Chef.
Matt and Dolcey have two sons both of whom have now graduated from University.
Eldest son Edam and his wife Sprout (Weiser) were married in the spring and started summer awaiting the birth of their first child.
Edam - Pop/Fortune - has been perma plat since he was a teen (20 BF), he finished his second lifetime want (Oceanography) early in the summer and is now hoping for an opening in the Dance career track.
Sprout - Pop/Knowledge - Perma Plat, currently working on being a visionary.

The family share their home with three pups: Dakota, Milo and Cookie. At the start of the rotation all three were lazy bums but Edam and Matthew put them to work. Since Sprout currently needs no sleep she rotates her time between working on a toy making badge so that the dogs can wash themselves, and training the dogs.
There are also the general variety of nice and not so nice ghosts around the house. Celeste (top) normally isn't very scary she likes to clean up puddles and toss out spoiled food, maybe she was hoping that Sprout would make a puddle for her. Alas as a plant sim that wold be impossible. Unfortunately, I don't believe that Celeste was able to clean up after Matthew, he had the displeasure of being awoken by Cher.
ACR users this is what happens when you queue up dish duty for a sim while they have a casual sit action lined up.
Note to all, making a bar inaccessible is a very good way to keep your simself out of mischief.
Eventually, we had a birth! Edam and Sprout provided me with my third girl in a row!!! I'm quite amazed by the current birth odds that this rotation is bringing about. Daughter Brie continued the family naming theme and is named after a type of cheese.
The Smith's had a bit of a plantsim convention going on, at one point Eva followed Adonis. She still likes to stalk him even though they've been friend zoned for a long time. Good thing that the rebuild took away the hearts or tin man would most likely have been slapped for that first kiss.
That same day Dandelion became perplexed over a townie's ability to wilt while sitting in the hot tub.

Because Andrea wasn't yet perma plat we had to fulfill a bunch of little wants prior to her birthday. Luckily after being chased by bees several times she was able to catch a bug which allowed her to roll up a few friends wants and get fully plat.
They then invited the twins and their fiances over for Drago and Andrea's birthday party. Between the loss of hair and skanky elder clothing there was a desperate need for quick makeovers.
When Rebecca Gavigan was born I wasn't able to remember what the naming theme in the household was. I ended up going with a Hebrew name since both her father (Nathan) and half brother (Isaiah) have Hebrew names. I later decided that the previous theme was based on space explorers or space related scientists. We'll possibly let one of the twins take over that theme. Rebecca also ends up being named after her Great-Grandmother, Rebecca (Hiatt), the vampire that married Bade Dreamer.
I'm not sure if Baggy is being protective of Rebecca or if he's wondering why she's lucky enough to have her own bed. Sometimes multiple pets leads to a scarcity of floor space and while there are plenty of pet beds in the house the cats sometimes end up sleeping on people beds or in the doghouse out back.
It was a week of parties and we combined Rebecca's birthday with her grandparent's Golden Anniversary in order to get Andrea perma plat. The twins came in from UNI and Drago's own twin brother, Draco, along with wife Danya joined the festivities.
As often happens; Edcel and his fiance, Buffy Familiar, missed most of the party. Buffy had been slated to live with her parents for this season but due to previous hot tub activities she was moved to her own home. I didn't want her giving birth before her future husband could graduate.
Rebacca Gavigan apparently didn't need Uncle Edcel to watch her grow up well.

House Three Familiar
From the outside this is one of my favorite houses. Originally from Pet Stories I've added on and changed it a bit but I still like the look of it. I added on an extra room above the back porch in order to give it the standard four bedrooms, three baths.
It's a good thing I like the house, since I like the sims that live in it very much.

Darlene Pop/Knowledge - Perma plat currently a Captain Hero, would like to be a Rock God(dess)
Daffodil Pop/Fortune - Perma plat but currently unemployed due to a bad chance card. Cheated her a job in Athletics (LTW) last day of adulthood so that she would have a job.
Darlene and Daffodil have one son, Evander.
Evander recently graduated from University and moved home along with his wife Elise (Nova).
Evander - Pleasure / ? - Wants to be Professional Party Guest. Accomplished that and now wants to be a game designer.
Elise - Pop / Knowledge? - Wants to be The Law
I haven't chosen secondaries for either of them yet since they each suit their primaries so well. We'll see what happens over the next few rotations.

Daffodil is the spore child of Tara (Livingston) Dreamer. Tara was married to Darren (spouse of Barbie) Dreamer 's Alien son, Banard.
And yes it is a very interesting family tree.
The very first thing that happened at this house was the death of Sadie Familiar. Sadie was first Chris' wife, but after his death she was Dwight's last 'steady' girlfriend. Sadie was the mother of Dannon and Darlene, and the grandmother of Elani, Emily and Evander.
The afternoon following Sadie's death, Evander and Elise were married. Soon after the wedding, a lullaby was heard and so everyone sat back to await the next generation.
Evander got to experience attempting to fix a trash compactor with only four mechanical points.
Darlene didn't do much better with ten. It was eventually deleted and replaced. I guess they could have called a repairman but, meh I don't normally do that especially since no one wanted to call one.
Since both Darlene and Daffodil are pops they got to have an actual real party for their birthdays. Lots of friends came over to help them celebrate the graying of hair and the sagging of boobs. Several ghosts decided to stop in a give their own well wishes.
The next day Darlene brought home The Headmaster - Korey Jimakusol as her hobby friend. Soon after I discovered that she'd used her invisibility super power (notice the floating wedding ring). I've had this issue before, also with an elder, female, Captain Hero bringing a hobby friend home.
The only way I've really found to fix it is to send the sim to another lot. So Darlene and Daffodil walked over to the neighborhood bistro for a dinner date. After they returned home, Darlene was switched to the Music career path in order to hopefully avoid the situation in the future and to pursue her next LTW.
When they got back it was baby time! I admit it, I reloaded. With three red hair genes in play I felt red hair deserved to show up. It only took one reload for Lottie to have red hair.
Sunday rolled around and with it family day. Elise's parents, siblings and sibling's significant others came by to play Sims3.
While the family was there, they got to see a toddler tossing. Denise is the youngest of the direct line generation six first circle and yet she's the first to be a grandmother.
Lottie looks a bit angular at this point, but I think she'll grow into her features. Evander was very pointy as a toddler and Lottie gets a lot of her features from Daddy.

House Four - London
The London house looks larger than it really is. Typical of neighborhood homes it has the standard four bedrooms, basement, carport, garden and pond. There's a playroom on top that adds an extra bath and a bit more space but it's fairly similar to other homes in the hood.

Currently in the home we have Dean and Delta (Indie) Familiar. Dean is the only sim of generation seven that I worked at becoming a plantsim. I had quite a few in generation six and wasn't planning on that many more but for various reasons I changed my mind and encouraged him becoming one.
Dean Knowledge/Fortune - Currently wants to be Eco-Guru, is a Hand of Poseidon.
Delta Family/Pop - Wants a Golden Anniversary, is a Captain Hero.

The primary reason is that while Dean and Delta have three children, I wasn't very happy with the future housing situation and I wanted someone of the direct line to be able to take it over. Eldest son Edward, a romancer, will be moving to the party house. The younger girls, Edith and Eowyn are twins and are so close that I can't see separating them once they are settled. Since Eowyn is a family sim with a three child lifetime want, they will need a house that can hold quite a few people.
Hence, Dean became a plant sim and spored Eucalyptus who is shown here with each of the family's three cats (Callie, Sweets and Salem.) As a toddler Eucalyptus spent most of his time harassing the three kitties.
He harassed them to the point that I had to order them to eat and sleep. Salem is the current heir of the neighborhood Cat line, being the direct descendant of Al and Robin's original pair.
The kids came in from University for their brother's treeing and spent some time getting to know him. Edward and Eucalyptus didn't seem to have much in common but he quickly became friends with the girls.
Eucalyptus may be a clone of his father 10/9/9/1/1 but he has a few oddities. Dean shows as a Scorpio but Lyp is a Virgo. He's also the only meanie in the family . All three of the elder London kids are creepy 10 point smiling mutants.
Lyp rolled Knowledge and wants to be a Journalist. I haven't decided if he will stay a plant for long or if I'll have him cured. He's max in skills already and may be a bit boring if he stays a plant.
It worked out fine for summer, he spent his nights helping Dad in the garden and meeting his ancestors. The ghosts at the London home may be the first to be moved, several of them are uptight over a missing bed.
Now that he is an adult Lyp seemed quite eager to get on with life. Frankly I feel he's a bit too young to settle down, but the day after his treeing Dean brought a friend home from work that Lyp had multiple bolts with. Interestingly enough she's Fortune which generally isn't that great a match for Knowledge. We'll let him meet a few more people and see what happens over the next few rotations.
House Five - Tan
The Tans house is almost ready for the next generation. I may need to do some remodeling in order to get it a bit more playable for multi generations but that will come later on. For now there are three bedrooms and three baths. There is a basement but it hasn't been finished yet. Since the heir apparent has not yet graduated University or moved home, there was only one day of play in this house.

Currently living in the house we have Damien (Familiar) and Don Tan.
Damien Fortune/Family - Perma plat, current LTW is to have 5 top businesses (not gonna happen). Is a business tycoon.
Don - Family/Knowledge - Perma plat, recently gave up a long time career as a Captain Hero in order to join the SCIA.
Damien and Don currently share the home with two cats, Danny and Alabama. Once Eldon is home we'll most likely have kittens.
Damien and Don have two children, Elysia who recently graduated and moved to the girls party house and son Eldon who I believe is a junior at FSU. Eldon is engaged to Eric Swain from Sim State.
When a household is on short rotation, I try to invite their kids over for an evening of bonding, so Elysia and Eldon stopped by to see their Dads
However the two spent most of the evening hanging out in the hot tub with Darcy and Daria.
House Six - London
Another four bedroom, three bath typical Familiarity home. I have a few issues with where the stairs are located so I may do some revamping in the fall but it's worked well for multiple generations up until this point.

This London house is the home of Douglas and Tosha. Since son Ewan is still at University they only got the one day of play.
Douglas - Fortune/Family Perma Plat, wants to be a prestidigitator but is currently a City Planner.
Tosha - Fortune/Knowledge - Perma Plat, wants to earn 100k and is currently a Hostage Negotiator.
The family have two cats, Jarge and Sue, who will most likely be breeding during upcoming rotations.
Son Ewan is a Senior at FSU. Ewan is still a bit confused romantically, but hopefully things will become clear soonish. I have the feeling that if it doesn't his fiance will be more than happy to straighten him out. She's done so in the past.
While he has his moments of denseness Ewan's a very nice boy and well he loves his Momma!
House Seven - Smith
The Smith house isn't the best laid out inside but I do like the outside. If the current generation stops with only one child the house will be fine, however if they have more children we may remodel. Currently it's a three bedroom, two bath making it a bit smaller than other houses.

Living in the home we have Dolcelatte (London) and Matthew Smith. Since this is the second season that their eldest son has been home they eldered in the Spring.
Matthew - Knowledge/Fortune - Former Garden Clubber aged down to marry Dolcey recently returned to elderhood. Permaplat several times. Currently wants to finish maxing his skills.
Dolcelatte - Family/Grilled Cheese. Perma Plat, currently wants to graduate three kids from University and that isn't going to happen. She's a Celebrity Chef.
Matt and Dolcey have two sons both of whom have now graduated from University.
Eldest son Edam and his wife Sprout (Weiser) were married in the spring and started summer awaiting the birth of their first child.
Edam - Pop/Fortune - has been perma plat since he was a teen (20 BF), he finished his second lifetime want (Oceanography) early in the summer and is now hoping for an opening in the Dance career track.
Sprout - Pop/Knowledge - Perma Plat, currently working on being a visionary.

Sprout is the spore child of Bud Weiser one of the UA Vampires
The family share their home with three pups: Dakota, Milo and Cookie. At the start of the rotation all three were lazy bums but Edam and Matthew put them to work. Since Sprout currently needs no sleep she rotates her time between working on a toy making badge so that the dogs can wash themselves, and training the dogs.
There are also the general variety of nice and not so nice ghosts around the house. Celeste (top) normally isn't very scary she likes to clean up puddles and toss out spoiled food, maybe she was hoping that Sprout would make a puddle for her. Alas as a plant sim that wold be impossible. Unfortunately, I don't believe that Celeste was able to clean up after Matthew, he had the displeasure of being awoken by Cher.
ACR users this is what happens when you queue up dish duty for a sim while they have a casual sit action lined up.
Note to all, making a bar inaccessible is a very good way to keep your simself out of mischief.
Eventually, we had a birth! Edam and Sprout provided me with my third girl in a row!!! I'm quite amazed by the current birth odds that this rotation is bringing about. Daughter Brie continued the family naming theme and is named after a type of cheese.
The Smith's had a bit of a plantsim convention going on, at one point Eva followed Adonis. She still likes to stalk him even though they've been friend zoned for a long time. Good thing that the rebuild took away the hearts or tin man would most likely have been slapped for that first kiss.
That same day Dandelion became perplexed over a townie's ability to wilt while sitting in the hot tub.
Yes Brie, your Daddy is a Popularity sim.
Your Mother is a Plantsim, your Aunt is a Zombie, and your Grandfather is a Vampire. Your last name may be Smith but your family is currently moving very far away from being ordinary.
