Four Weddings, No Funerals!
I simmed a lot this weekend. Ended up finishing off the current Uni rotation but before I could get back to the greek house and shoot plotty type scenes I had to pop into the main hood and get some weddings taken care of. Ten of my generation sixes graduated, two moved into party houses, three are on hold until their intendeds graduate, and five got married. One wedding you've seen already (Dale and Rose). Here's the other four.
Dolcelatte and Matthew Smith

We've already seen the magic of boolprop used once this generation. But we get to see it again.
Dolcelatte London fell for Garden Clubber Matthew Smith when he was part of the inspection team for her dorms wishing well project. Matthew's a knowledge sim, Dolcey's a family sim and the two of them had instant three bolt attraction. Matthew seemed hesitant to encourage a relationship with the undergrad due to his age but she eventually wore down his resistance.
We could have kept him an elder but since we'd already aged down Rose for Dale, fair is fair; and all sims deserve a chance at perma platness. Aged down Matthew has the same face as headmaster Vince Walters, so the kids will have nose issues no matter who they take after. Dolcey's the only one of Celeste and Cort's kids that got his nose.
Wishes do come true.
Is it a good sign when the bride swoons for the zombie right after they say their vows? It's only a bad sign when the zombie is the bride's GREAT GRANDFATHER!
Dolcey and Matt will be living with Cort and Celeste which means there will be plenty of grilled cheese for everyone. Including whatever shows up from the lullaby that we heard after the party was over.
Dannon and Della Familiar
First of the 'cousin' to 'cousin' weddings of the generation.
Fred->Abe->Betty->Clint->Christopher->Dannon
Fred->Al->Amelia->Becca->Collin->Della
Della may have been one of Puck's 'stalkers' but I never took her intentions towards him all that seriously. She's been half in love with Dannon since they were teens. Given the proper nudge in the right direction and they were both sold on a future filled with the purchasing of expensive statues and paintings.
Good thing for them that they were willing since they anticipated the wedding a bit. It might have been a shot-gun wedding if anyone had voiced objections.
I know exactly what Dannon will look like as an elder, minus the swagger that is. Christopher is off to steal a smooch from Sadie.
Rain at a wedding is a bad omen right?
Wrong! everything goes off without a hitch despite the small spoiler in the photo.
Damien and Don Tan

We've already talked a little bit about Damien and Don. The firefighters name's not Mitch it's Don! Don Tan.
Yep Don the Zombie face with the name Don, ironic maybe? Don and Damien throw the first same sex wedding (not joining) of the generation. There will most likely be four total this generation.
We had to throw the wedding at night cause Damien's great grandparent's really wanted to be there. Not like they paid attention to the ceremony or anything but at least they brought Hun the bigfoot. Yes my bigfoot's name is Hun.
This is what happens when you try to influence bigfoot to hug someone. I had hoped he'd fullfill Damiens want to get a bigfoot hug but apparently the no romantic interactions don't count when influenced. Damien was having none of that, he likes his men with a bit less hair on their chests.
Dirk and Lillith Pleasant
The last match is one that's not related to the main line at all!
Part of the reason why I sent Dirk to UNI this generation was in hopes of him and Lillith getting together. For awhile there I thought they'd ignore each other but eventually she stopped pestering Puck and the two of them did get together 100% on their own! Joy of Joy's one of my favorite Maxis matches is back together again!
I've always like these two together and was very very happy to see them work it out for themselves. Funniest thing was when re-rolled to romance Angela tried flirting with Dirk he turned her down flat LOL!!!! In the past I've had problems with Dirk wanting to be a playah and going back and forth between the twins but this time he was all for Lil.
But that's alright with Ang cause what romance sim wants to get married anyway? She's moved into the playgirl mansion and is bound to have much more success with other guys.
