There are insinuations, in the book at least (see link) that he can be rather brutal in battle - but I like to think he'd be sweet at least to his friends, and especially Tiger. And he didn't yell at Yegor, which he EASILY could have done. Mind control or no mind control.

I'm treating myself to the book for my birthday but i have to track it down first which well means leaving the house for something other than uni, hmmm *grin*

Ooh, you might have a bit of trouble. As far as I can tell there isn't an English translation out yet - only Russian and German (I think), and the Germans only have the first book of the trilogy. Which has three stories in it which are being made into the movie trilogy, if that makes any sense. Hence slippery_fish having read it and none of the rest of us :(

yep that seems to be the conclusion that i've come to too!
but i can suffer in silence until it actually gets translated and then enjoy ;)
