d-day

for those of you who are out of the loop, i.e. almost everybody because i am in australia, today was the day that my girlfriend (nicole, the girl from missouri) left australia to go back to good ol' dittmer, MO.
needless to say, i am hurting. strange enough that i liked a girl enough to call her my girlfriend. of course, then i choose to do so in a foreign country with a girl from who knows how many miles away in Middle America.
damn.
erich,for god's sake don't talk to me about missing your girl when she's up in flag and you're in phx, at least you can see her in a day.
so, from the love-lorn hurt of someone who just had to say goodbye, any advice for making it hurt less that i don't get to see her in forever? any posts about booze and hookers will be considered and then summarily ignored due to lack of funds/energy/interest.
what a depressing ass day.
