Just a quick note before crashing for the night.
My new job is moving along. Still settling in, and figuring out which way is up. A cross between giddy newness and jaded cynicism. :)
My new manager (technically a Director, but manager is more meaningful) was chatting with me, and indicated that since we have a bunch of new people starting soon she wants us as a group to keep up to date on the BABOK and hopefully some of the new folks will take the CBAP exam when they are ready. Well, this is cool on several levels - since I am as you readers of this Blog know already a CBAP, and also I will be working with the IIBA GBC in the near future to lead (along with the other Boston area CBAPs) a study group. With double to teaching opportunities maybe I can become a CBAP trainer somewhere - could lead to interesting job opportunities down the road.
Oh, and rumor has it that my best manager ever will be returning to my former company... &^#%$# grrrr. Well, all I can say is lucky for them, she is awesome!
