uh oh
I'm falling in love...with Colorado. it is great and fabulous even though I have no best friend to hang out with and dink around with and laugh at and give wedgies to. But, it snows like its nobodies business and today my little nissan sentra drove through the ice (sheets and sheets of it) and through almost a foot of snow like a champ. It was glorious, i've never driven in the snow and I'd always get nervous to do it and now I realized I just have to go out and do it and not let the snow bully me around. It snowed long and hard yesterday, so hard that I had to take the bus but I got to read the lion the witch and the wardrobe on the way and thats a damn good book.
I went to see adi on halloween and was a fucking bad ass mugatu. It was good, I drank too much and now I've decided not to drink until after christmas. We'll see if I make it.
I put an ad up to find a family to babysit for and I think I found one, they are great! I went to meet them today and she was a super nice friendly lady and she has two super cute kids 3 and 1 and I think I'm gonna like it. I think it'll put me over the edge with working too much this winter and I might just have to quit starbucks or something. Because the family owns a RANCH with HORSES. lots of horses and there is white water rafting and camp outs and horse back over night things and I think that I might just become a mountain woman. (no worries I will still shave my armpits)but....doesn't that just sound fun? She said today that I could work at the ranch this summer....hmmm something to ponder. I had told my brother that I might go to DC for the summer and I told Ashley that I'd move to vancouver but who can pass up horses? ha Ben hannan would be proud. I thought of him for some reason, actually I thought "If I start riding horses I wonder if I'll wear wranglers like Ben hannan?" kinda funny huh?
I want to go into town and John won't take a shower so we can go, I keep yelling out to him from my bedroom "John I'm ready!!!!" and he said "shhhhh, just a minute" which really means it'l be two years. o h well.
Tomorrow I'm gonna see about getting a colorado license plate, oh shit I really have moved here, its not just a temporary thing.
anyone want to come live with me on the RANCH???? ashley you love hiking and horses....ha
