so yea... got the fuel pump deal all figured out.... of course im going to elaborate...

I have 2 fuel pumps, one inside my gas tank(supply pump), that just pumps the gas into a little box that sits just infront of the rear passenger side tire... then, there is a pump (the MAIN pump) in THAT box, that pumps it up to the engine. Went to a junk yard today and pulled 2 main pumps, and 3 supply pumps... first thing i did was change my main pump, cuz its easy as heck.. started the car it ran fine for about 3 minutes, then started dying, then wouldnt start at all.. so i pull the pump back out, normally a bunch of gas is supposed to pour out of the box.. well it was empty, so i KNEW the supply pump was bad... so i spend about an hour getting it out, i hooked it up to some wire and tested it on my battery, no go, then tried all 3 of the ones i got at the junk yard, all dead, what a bitch. Went to AutoZone and spent 90.00 on a new pump.. put it in, put in the main pump, and it runs great.. =) and i have an extra main pump =)

so anyways, my car is now running quite happily without me having to worry about, shit, will it die when i go to the store, or to work, or on the way home, etc.
yay for me... not the $25 i wanted to spend.. but a lot cheaper than 200 bucks..
