Also, I received some shit about yesterday's voting about me rendering one vote invalid and letting the other one slide. The invalid vote was because that person didn't participate AT ALL and just left a message in the social thread and the other one had made ONE comment during playtime in the play thread. There is a difference. For anyone of you who have been playing here since round 1, this change has been reflected in our rules ever since the other mod and I discussed this. I am enforcing this rule this round, because there are so many players and there is no room for being lenient. If this makes me the shittiest mod ever, then so be it.
I had changed the rules re: participation on July 5th after talking with meekosan about it. This in mind of the current round; knowing that this would be our first very big round and we had to be a bit stricter about participation and rules. The previous two rounds didn't need that as we barely got by with players.
On the sign up post of round three, I mentioned checking out the rules.
In light of today's conflicts, messages and comments, the rules about participation have been made clearer, and the typo about the dentist has been fixed.
The rules are in play so that everyone has a good time where you know what to expect.
Yes, I'm stricter than usual, but I also hope to be fair. Have you seen the players list? That's a huge responsibility.
