Even if she wasn't, I'd still rec this in a heartbeat because it is just beautiful. Perhaps I need to read more, but Ducky seems to get left out of the limelight when it comes to fic. Which is a crying shame as he's such a fascinating character.
In this story, set in the first ten episodes of S4, wiccagirl24 gives Ducky something the show writers haven't. A romance with someone who is neither a murderer or a psycho. The resulting story is beautiful, romantic, plausible, gentle and guaranteed to leave you with a smile on your face. Just like the Duckman himself.
