Why this must be read:
The team has Abby under protection. Tim and Tony are outside in a car and Gibbs is inside with her. Gibbs is trying to stay focused on watching for danger, but Abby wants him to play "Clue" with her. Gibbs is still feeling guilty for letting Abby get into trouble in the first place and is determined to not let anything distract him, but Abby isn't letting that stop her from pleading with him to play.
She carefully looked over the contents of her hand before plucking the purple piece and holding it up to him. "Ok, I know that purple isn't a manly color but you didn't strike me as a Mr. Green or as a Colonel Mustard so you are Professor Plum. It suits you, I think. You should wear more purple, Gibbs."
"Abby-" He spoke but had no idea what would come after her name because he couldn't tell her no, not after all the shit she'd been through that day. He stood there and watched her get pistol whipped by a murderer, a guy who could just as easily have shot her in the head.
