Actually, these ribbons make perfect sense with Gibbs. I don't peg him as the kind of guy who'd wear anything but his own ribbons.

Also? I don't think they make much sense with Gibbs as-a-sniper - which I don't see making a whole lot of sense at any rate. Canon be damned, when it doesn't make sense!
