Dossier update
I've updated the Dossier with sa3466996's S1 and S2 info. Thank you so much for that! sa3466996's S1 and especially S2 notes are richly detailed, with lots of context and dialogue. *hangs head in shame at my paltry notes for S3*
I did reformat the whole thing, but there are still inconsistencies at the moment. I'll work on them, as time goes by ...
In other news, I found a French language team-NCIS site with nicely presented vids of seemingly each and every "les slaps" (Heh! I'm sure my Subject-Verb agreement is off, in that last mixed languages phrase). The site people seem to have a fine appreciation for any and all slaps, including all characters. The vids are English language with French subs, and they are convenient, as they are arranged on their own Saison/Season/Series page and are numbered by episode and then a, b, c within eps. Quality seems good too.
From just a quick look/count (I haven't checked it thoroughly), I can see I've missed plenty of slaps from S3 and there is even one missed (apparently - I haven't checked it) from what we've got so far for S1. I found the missing moment and added it to the dossier. It's a Gibbs/Tim *tousle*, but Tony is soooo jealous ... *g*
Speaking of S1, can I just say sa3466996 ... what a truly insightful appreciation of the G/T dynamic you show in your description of 1.05 The Curse ... where you say, "Gibbs finally relents." *squees madly* I love that you understand so well that Tony adores (and does everything in his power) to get his headslaps and that Gibbs KNOWS that. *happy sighs*
Just a note to say also, I've wanted to contribute more to some of the discussion going on in the posts so far, but thought I'd better do all the "swabbing the decks" (dossier stuff) first, as it comes in. In true diNozzo style, I've been getting all my ducks in a row before a certain headslapper sneaks up on me. *g* Soon I hope, I'll cut loose and play havoc with all you others in the squad room! It has given me delicious food for thought though, and I wanted to let you know I was squeeing!
ETA: I've downloaded S1 and 2 of the French site's slap .flv files (link above) with Firefox's DownloadHelper. The French subs are not hard encoded (that means there are none) on the vid when I replay them with Media Player Classic. Yay!
