I like to think this is perfect karma for Vance and his machinations.
The entire fic was just lovely, but some of my favourite bits:
- Tony offering to send Ziva to assasinate Vance
- Palmer fired up, ready to offer his resignation (oh, Jimmy!)
- Tony remembering the Mighty Mouse stapler
- McGee's increased techno-babble for Vance (and Gibbs' suggestion that he might even be making some of it up)
- Gibbs wondering if McGee had done any actual NCIS work a month (the picture was just lovely)
... I'll stop there before I start quoting everything, but really enjoyed this fic. =)

It has team-love, and Duck/Gibbs love. It has loyal Timmy and Gibbs knowing how loyal he is. And Vance got his ass kicked, HA!
It's filled with Ducky love, and oh my goodness! Tony offering Ziva as a mysterious assassin *laughs* And grown-up Tony. As I always knew he could be!
And a bossy Ducky!
And Ducky taking the initiative!!
And it's first time!
And Jethro is moving with Ducky!!!

Team-love story sums it up so very well. They do love one another *nods* Of course Gibbs knows how loyal Tim is, now we just need Tim to realise it. And Vance only has himself to blame *g*
Hee. And you know you could see Ziva doing it - well maybe the threatening. And indeed Tony can grow up. Which is why I really, seriously, feel if he gets his own team it can't be in DC with Gibbs in the same room. Or he'll go on being the Tony we see now.
Ducky can be bossy.
And indeed - I know you like Ducky taking the lead, I actually had you in mind when I wrote that part.
