I don't think a story has ever hurt me so much.

Utterly beyond being painful.

So much pain. So much bitterness. So much hate. And yet so much love. It was too painful for anything.

I was in two minds about posting it, but I gave in and stuck a warning on it instead.

Thank goodness you spotted that in there. It still came out as them to me, Jethro could still read Ducky and was worried about him... but yes, ouch indeed. I think this might be a time Jethro patches Ducky up in the end...

Ah, I know that feeling - I'm glad you did.

Oh, yes. I could see the love on both sides. The bitterness was so deep, there had to be love. You can't throw things like that and not love deeply. *Nods* Methinks so too.

You do indeed. Oh good (but glad I gave in or glad I put a warning on it? ;)

Phew. Well exactly. It wouldn't bother him if he didn't love him. That was a redeemer for me - Gibbs reaction to Jordan at Ducky's - for a friend he didn't seem very happy that Ducky had someone. Oh dear, poor Ducky :P

:) Ah, hopefully a good distraction then...
