wonderful as always. I keep meaning to ask, do all of the stories happen in the same universe? and are they in order? Just so i know how to approach them.

Thank you very much indeed. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed this, and others.

There are three stories which are 'paired' (story and sequel):

Black Does Not Become Him
Our Brown Eyed Girl

Shattered Illusions
Fixed

Just A Game
Now Is All That Matters

And then there is a universe which I am creating around 'holidays'. There are only two thus far, but others are 'planned'.

A Fitting Tribute
Care Taking

There are also another 'pair' which are crossovers with The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

The Past Is Never Just The Past
Brothers In Love

Other than that, the only similarity in the stories is that in 'my' world, they met back when Gibbs was a young Marine (anything between 25 and 30 years ago), and in most of the stories they became lovers back then, albeit obviously not committed ones.

Thank you again for your comments and your interest.

WHOA!!!!!!!!!

You've done it again, my dear...

Hugs Jethro...

Smacks Ziva and Madame Director....bitches

Smacks Tony for being a prat.

Hugs Ducky for having to put up with a cranky Jethro. Surprised that Jethro didn't resort to popping caffeine pills to survive...lol

Well written as always. Felt Jethro's frustration and Ducky's love. Picked up on Tony's unease, Jimmy's uncertainity and Ziva's dislike for spilling everything to Jenn.

Off to get a redhead sorted...lol

Thank you very much indeed.

I'm delighted, as always, that you enjoyed it.

And yes, I agree entirely with your hugs and smacks - perfectly dealt out.

I'm glad that the various emotions/feelings came over well enough for you to 'feel' them too.

Thank you so much.

Happy redhead sorting!

What a yummy treat! This ficcy was so very long, and so fun! Go Gibbs for showing who's da best, stupid Ziva and Director...*grumbles* How can they be so, so, evvilll?

I love how you manage to capture Tony and McGee bantering, they are so very fun, and Ducky's ability to just soothe Gibbs, such a power <3! I loved Gibbs reassurance to Ducky that his mother lived with him and not the other way around, *squees*

Silly Jimmy! He had a bigger role in this ficcy, how fun! It'd be interesting to read a ficcy in his pov about working with Ducky *g*

Bwa ha ha Ziva lost *sticks out tounge at her* Cheater.

"Done." Gibbs held out his hand. Tony blinked at it for several seconds, Gibbs had never before shaken his hand, before taking it and returning the squeeze. With the same look in his eyes as he got when he'd broken a particularly tough suspect, Gibbs turned around and strode out of the office.

Ouch, such a harsh paragraph, looks like Tony lost too :)

Great ficcy! So much fun! Looking forward to your other ones! Woot Woot!

Thank you so much. I'm delighted, as always, that you enjoyed it. It was longer than my more recent ones (I always used to write at least this length of story, this was mega short for me at one time!).

Oh, yes, Gibbs is the best.

How can they be so, so, evvilll?

::Giggle::

I'm glad DiNozzo and McGee's banter came over well, thank you. And that you liked Gibbs's reassurance that Ducky's mom lived with him.

I really like Jimmy, he's great (he should have got his name in the credits rather than Madam Jenn). I will see if my muse can oblige with writing a story from Jimmy's POV. I shall ponder it for you.

Oh, yes, Ziva lost. Trying to be too clever - and it goes to show, she doesn't know Gibbs.

Ouch, such a harsh paragraph, looks like Tony lost too :)

Oh, yes, Tony lost a lot!

I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. More will arrive in due course - I promise. Thanks as always for your enthusiasm.

I am feeling the Jimmy love.

I *love* how you write the team's (or the "children's") bickering. Ziva cracks me up, and Tony has just the right balance of competence and insight mixed with incompetence and lack of insight.

And Gibbs living with Mrs. Mallard? I think I shall just stand back and wait for the fireworks... ;-)

:-) I'm glad you too are feeling the Jimmy love - I do so like him.

I *love* how you write the team's (or the "children's") bickering.

Thank you so much. I'm glad it comes over okay. It's really good to know that you think I've got DiNozzo 'balanced' out.

And Gibbs living with Mrs. Mallard? I think I shall just stand back and wait for the fireworks... ;-)

:-)) As long as he keeps making her the 'Gibbs G&T Specials', all will be fine.
