Fiction. Getting Rid Of Madam Director

Some of you may have read this, in its Gen form, as part of periwinkle27's 'Madam Director' round robin. I've made some changes to it, and basically made it a mild slash story.

My thanks to toomuchfandom for allowing me to use her idea in respect of Abby; and also to periwinkle27 for giving me permission to change and post my part of the story as a stand alone story.

You really do get a sense of the frustration brewing. Abby's way of thinking is almost childlike, with her loyalties and dogmatic approach (which is part of her charm). You've got that across very well, without making it OOC or childish, which is a difficult thing to do.

Aww the bits with Gibbs/Ducky are sweet.

Ducky's reactions are very understandable, the daydream part was a nice touch, but of course he wouldn't harm anyone like that.

LOL I like that Gibbs considered offing Jenny, really don't blame him.

I'm really pleased to hear that I managed to get Abby's thinking and approach right. I'm glad it came over well; she can be quite difficult to balance at time.

Even in Autopsy they can be sweet.

Thank you. That was a little bit from Peri's original idea when she started the round robin, but she had Ducky using Jenn as target practice :-) not for real, naturally. Of course he wouldn't do it, he's far too nice.

lovely piece, and i can quite understand Abby's frustration. i was kind of hoping that Ducky wouldn't let her do it because he had his own oidea, but is suppose he is really too nice *sighs heavily*
