Oh, Kate... It seems so long ago that it all happened but you're right that the effect on Ducky was never really dealt with at the time. How easily we get caught up in our own traumas. But, still, a lovely resolution with the two of them supporting and loving one another. Couldn't ask for anything more :-)

I enjoyed Kill Ari and how everyone got to say 'goodbye' to Kate in their own ways, but the effect of Ducky having to do the autopsy (okay, so he didn't have to, as Gibbs pointed out) as you say didn't happen.

Thank you for this story. I needed to read and picture where Gibbs and Ducky would be loving to each other in times of pain.
Especially after last nights episode. It was painful to see how they interacted.
