That was perfect. I never thought of matching Fraser's little spiel to the NCIS problem, but they go so well together. Kowalski definitely has it worse than NCIS. Except RCMP passes spellcheck and NCIS doesn't.

Great story. I've never seen one ep of DS but I got drawn into the fandom years ago and have never regretted it. I love RayK and his hot polite mountie boyfriend.

The only agency that is more obscure than NCIS - RCMP. Though possibly 'the agency' that the Invisible Man works for is even more unknown. Fabulous premise for a fic.
