Ahem. Okay, proper feedback now. *g* I loved this. I was really, really hoping to a follow up to From the burn bag at Bethesda, and this was perfect. The whole team was awesome, and I love that Tony got McGee to sneak him the case files, and that Gibbs took them back. *g* Everyone was very much themselve, which was awesome. *happy sigh*

I so did not see the still-sealed letter coming, but it just figures that Gibbs either already knew what was in it or was willing to gamble on what was in it. *g*

An ode to the first story;)

The follow-up is just... wonderful. You have no idea how happy it made me to see this sequel. It just didn't disappoint at all. The team were all on form and all wonderful. From Ducky's ordering and care, Abby's fussing, Kate's snark and McGee's rule bending - they were all superb.

And then there was Gibbs. You write him perfectly - a bastard, yes, but a fair one - giving Tony the *best* incentive to get better.

And once again, those last two lines are just made of win.

*glee* Thank you for the wonderful rec! I remember how much you liked the first one, so I'm really pleased that the sequel worked for you. We had a lot of fun writing this -- though it's been awhile and we're WAY out of shape.
