Hey all!
I see posts on here have lapsed for a few months--so I sure hope there's someone active on here who can help me out. *pokes community* It sure looks like the place I've been trying to find to answer my questions...
I'm quite new to NCIS (just a couple weeks, actually...hee). I fell in love with it primarily through fanfiction, with a couple of episodes I caught (more by accident than intentionally, lol) on the side. I absolutely adore the father/son relationship between Gibbs and Tony. *squees*
The thing is, I'm an rabid avid fanfiction writer, and when I can't find the story I want, well...lately I've gotten in the habit of getting my frustrations out by writing the story to satisfy my cravings. ^^ So, the story--that I MUST read--that I haven't been able to find in non-slash form for NCIS is an NCIS/Sentinel crossover. The other day, on a whim, I started writing my own version, with Tony discovering his latent Sentinel abilities. I'll let ya guess who his Guide's gonna end up being. *g*
Now, my major dilemma is that, although I think I have a fair grasp on the characters' personalities (fanfiction's great for education that way), I'm still veeery sketchy when it comes to knowing what's canon and what's fanon. Can anyone point me to a site that gives in-depth profiles for the characters? You know, more than just hair color/eye color, etc, etc.? I want quotes and details, both minute and major, gleaned from the episodes, especially as pertains to Tony and Gibbs.
I know I could solve my problem by actually watching the entire series, but a couple of problems stand in my way since, a) I don't really have the time to do that atm, b) I don't own any of the seasons, and would thus have to watch grainy online versions, and c) I don't do well with a whole lot of corpse close-ups, so I can't watch too many episodes in a row without getting pretty uberly squicked out. *sheepish* If someone can recommend some episodes that don't have too much by way of gratuitous morgue scenes/body shots, I would be grateful for that too. ^^
Anyways...any help would be very, very much appreciated. ;)
