hey :) i love the idea of a place to discuss the episodes... of course there are always the general ncis comms, but i still like it :)

& yay! i so loved this episode, i think it was better than most. sadly i also knew that tony wouldn't really die (& i just saw the cbs promo, but it's all in there), but i still loved it. i agree with you that there are still a lot of other surprises... the frog for example, poor bastard & i even liked him, :( but it was a great way to end the episode. & just WHO did it:

a) trent? i don't think it was him. he's mean & great & i love him (a bald headed bad cia guy, who wouldn't like that?) but i think he wasn't the one, don't know why though.
b) jenny. i hope it was her, *lol* that would make everything much more interesting.
c) jeanne. hmm. well i don't know, perhaps. but then she would come back in a later episode & be all killer-girl. i hope not.
d) sucicide? okay, i know it doesn't look lie it & it's unlikely, but still... he's lost his daughter & his future & everything...
e) tony. why not? :)

one thing that makes me happy in this episode is really the cia guy. i'm sure he will be back & he's got a personal enemy thing with tony = yay! & he's the one who bombed tony's car... *sigh* (i love revenge stories)

i was expecting a bit more team angst in this ep. i especially missed some gibbs angst. he seemed shocked, okay, but not really sad. when abby hugged him, i was so hoping for a tiny little tear or something, but no... stoic as ever. *sigh*. also the hugging i was hoping for didn't come (abby doesn't really count, she hugs everyone). tony is believed dead & they don't even hug him when he comes back? that's no way to come back from the dead... *pout*. but i absolutely loved the scenes where trent pushes tony against the elevator & the team draws their weapons, so sweet! very team-angsty, yay!

& i also hope that the not so subtle tony/ziva scenes are not what i fear they are. that would be my nightmare... romance in the team? god no, what a horror!

okay, i still have lots to say, but this is already epic... so i think i'll just stop here...

I totally agree with...em, everything. Well, Jeanne will torture us a little more, I'm afraid. Tony's really in love with her so he'll try everything. Oh! And how I loved it how pissed he was with Jenny. Nearly fell off the couch bouncing.
The only thing that'd be good about Tony/Ziva (yuck, it's already difficult to type this) is that they'd have to hide it from Gibbs. That'd be funny, though I kinda pitied Gibbs in the last season and Gibbs isn't the character one should pity and therefore : No more secrets from Gibbs! Alright? It's too mean! He's always worried and all.
Well, I waited for a tear, too, but he's been pissed. That's the other option, the Gibbs option. I guess we can expect a lot of friction between Tony and Gibbs, Tony and Jen, and Gibbs and Jen. This season will be fun!

mmh. i agree: friction is fun! and i hope it's less of the tony/ gibbs friction. i personally think gibbs is a bit proud of dinozzo (the way he smiles at him during the debriefing for example...). but i really think the tony/jen thing will be fun.

& it's not that i don't like jeanne, like so many others. i kinda think she's nice cause she made tony do things he would never have done before, she changed him & i just like her for that. but still... murder-girl? :(

& i also loved that tony was angry at the director (angry tony is great!) :) i loved the whole 'debirefing scene'. it was fun, with tony & gibbs eye-contacting, gibbs smiling when tony said no to the jen & everything. i really liked it, it was great acting too, i think.

and yes: poor gibs, everyone has secrets... but he kinda deserves it too: the way he left & then came back at the beginning of s4. that was just annoying. & mean to tony... (perhaps you noticed that i love tony, *g*)

Someone who loves Tony? I'm totally shocked...never could relate with people like that (I hope the sarcasm was delivered.)
Season 4 was kind of the "breaking Gibbs" season. I don't know but I think it has something to do with the problems Harmon had with Bellisario. It was like a pissing contest. Bellisario showed Harmon that Gibbs is part of the show and not the show. Actually something I'd like, if it had been done differently. Anyway, Harmon won the pissing contest and we're all happy, except Bellisario.
Though I do think there will be some Gibbs/Tony friction cause the boy grows up and maybe starts to question his daddy (No, I don't have a Daddy kink)

"(No, I don't have a Daddy kink)"
*lol* me neither!

& i hope the show will survive (well) without bellisario, i'm a little bit concerned...

I honestly don't see a Tony/Ziva pairing, just as with the aborted McGee/Abby pairing, its not something that Bellesario would do.

Recall that part of the whole JAG thing was Harm and Mac always seeming to be attracted to one another and they would never get together, Bellesario wouldn't allow it since they'd either have to go all the way or their connection would be shattered if they broke up for one reason or another.

The same thing would happen with Tony/Ziva, one of Gibbs' rules is 'Don't date within the office'. With his crazy Marine ninja senses there's no way that T/Z would ever be able to pull off a relationship without Gibbs knowing about it, think about it for a moment...neva happen.

As a flyer on who shot the frog...I'm going to go with Jenny's father...there's no way this loose end is going to be left untied forever.
