NCIS Bang Challenge community information
The ncis_bang community will host two challenges which will run separately:
1) The NCIS Big Bang Challenge: 2016 Big Bang Master List
Watch for the 2018 NCIS Big Bang sign-ups in April 2018.
2) The NCIS Reverse Challenge: 2017 Reverse Bang Master List
Watch for 2018 sign-ups in November.
Feel free to spread the word around to those who may be interested.
Our goal is to have a few new NCIS stories and artwork to share at the end of each challenge.
Note to participants:
Gibbs' Rule # 3, "Never be unreachable"
*All participants are responsible to stay in contact with their partner and the challenge moderator as needed.
*All participants are responsible to watch this community for updates and announcements, and to adhere to the posted challenge schedule.
*All participants are responsible to verify that they have posting access prior to their scheduled posting date.
*Participants should verify that they have joined the community and are listed as members, rather than just watching the community.
*Only members can be given posting access. This is a manual process. Access will be given to members who are on the schedule for the current challenge.
NCIS Big Bang/Multi-Bang 2017:
What's new for the 2017 Big Bang?
*The term "Genres" has been changed to "Categories". This refers to Gen, Het and Slash. The change was made to align with AO3's terminology.
*The Micro Bang (5K-10K) level will remain.
*There will only be one Art Claim this year. It will include all levels.
*You may submit one Micro Bang story per year, and up to three stories total. (So far, no one has submitted more than two.)
*If you are leaving LJ forever and ever, there is a mirror (sort of) journal at DW. I am open to people signing up there. The art claims will continue to run here at LJ. I do encourage those who want to participate to keep an active LJ if only to monitor and participate in the challenge (art claims) here at LJ, but I understand that some people have chosen to move on. I respect everyone's decisions. NCIS_bigbang, NCIS_reversebang and NCIS_bang are set up at DW. The last one will likely just be an archive for challenge Master Lists.
