Mine is done! WOOT! I had a goal to finish by the end of Match, and I managed to finish it on Friday.

Summary: When things come to a head between Tony and Gibbs in the bullpen, the last thing Tony expected was for Vance to be on his side, and a promotion on top of it! Yet, three weeks later, he and his son TJ were headed to London. Along the way there would be a new team, a new love, and a family he’d only ever dreamed of having.

YAY! It always feels good to get a story done, especially for a challenge!

I'm still working on getting to the ending. I keep adding words, but the story isn't wrapped up, yet. :(

I'll get there though.

I was struggling to get the ending done on mine. I knew where I wanted it to go...just had to get there.

I'm sure yours will come together. *G*

Lol. I've determined that I had too much story for the time frame. So I cut out some pieces and hinted at others and will probably end up doing a sequel. -.-

This story will already the longest story I have posted on ao3 if you don't count my series. Sigh. Oh well. That's life. I have a whole plot that's probably again at least the size of the current story if not closer to double it that's not written and that I don't have time to write.

But I think I basically have the rough draft done now. Just need to polish it up a bit.

My stories almost always wind up longer than I thought they'd be. Sometimes cutting them short and making a sequel is the best way to go.

Sounds like you're moving right along!

Finished up on Saturday. I still need to go over it and get it to my beta/artist. I feel pretty good about it, even though it's an odd little story.

First line:
Cody kept watch over the tree line, even as he ripped the meat from the carcass of an elk cow.

Summary:
When Tony becomes concerned about Gibbs' annual winter vacation, he employs Tim's help to find out where Gibbs goes each year. Gibbs isn't happy to see Tony arrive to infringe on his solitude, but allows Tony to join him in his vacation cabin. Tony learns something new about Gibbs, and it only strengthens their bond.

Check in 4 - Artwork # 21, claimed by Elbeeinthewild elbeeinthewild April 4 2017, 01:38:42 UTC
I'm not quite finished yet; I'd say about 3/4 complete and sitting at 7400 on the word count. I don't expect to have any problem getting my artist a draft by 15 Apr.

The working story title is "Darkest Before Dawn" and here is a summary:

The investigation of a robbery/homicide brings Gibbs & Tony to a small West Virginia town, where the pursuit of a lead takes a dangerous turn. An accident leaves them stranded on a remote mountain where they struggle to survive the night and evade a cold-blooded killer watching their every move.
