NCIS Bang Challenge community information
The ncis_bang community will host two challenges which will run separately:
1) The NCIS Big Bang Challenge:
Watch for sign-ups to open in April, stories to post in October.
2) The NCIS Reverse Challenge:
Watch for sign-ups to open in November, stories to post in May.
Feel free to spread the word around to those who may be interested.
Our goal is to have a few new NCIS stories and artwork to share at the end of each challenge.
Art claims will be held here at our Live Journal community, however, you may sign up through LJ or DW.
DW Authors and Artists may participate in the LJ art claims using a Facebook, Google, LJ, Twitter, or OpenID account, or may use a proxy.
Proxy help now available for challenges!
You no longer need to have an LJ or DW account to participate in our challenges! We now have volunteer proxies who can provide services to assist those without LJ and DW accounts if they would like to participate in our challenges [NCIS Big Bang/Multi-Bang Challenge (BB), NCIS Reverse Bang Challenge (RB), NCIS Secret Santa Challenge (SeSa) and NCIS Happy Holidays Challenge (HHC)].
If you would like the help of a proxy, please email ncischallenge (at) gmail (dot) com and use "PROXY HELP" for the subject line and specify what help you need:
Note to participants:
*All participants are responsible to stay in contact with their partner and the challenge moderator as needed.
*There is no need to communicate you are dropping out PRIOR to being assigned to a partner Artist/Author.
(For the Big Bang/Multi-Bang: No penalty for signed up Authors who do not submit rough drafts for the claim. No penalty for signed-up artists who do not make a claim.
For the Reverse Bang: No penalty for signed-up Artists who do not submit art. No penalty for signed-up Authors who do not claim artwork.)
*If you need to drop out for any reason AFTER you have been assigned a partner, please notify both your partner and the challenge mod you are dropping. Failure to communicate that you are dropping from the challenge once you are assigned a partner will lead to being banned from future challenges at mod's discretion.
*All participants are responsible to watch this community for updates and announcements and to adhere to the posted challenge schedule.
*All participants are responsible to verify that they have posting access prior to their scheduled posting date.
*Participants should verify that they have joined the community and are listed as members, rather than just watching the community.
*Only members can be given posting access. This is a manual process. Access will be given to members who are on the schedule for the current challenge.
