I know you're all probably anxious to get started so please get in touch with your partner in the next few days.
At this time, please contact the Artist/Author you are paired with. It is up to you as a team to decide whether you want to work together or not, and as to how closely you want to keep in contact. Some Artists have noted that they may be willing to offer cheerleading, brainstorming and possibly beta assistance. This will be noted on the Artist sign-up page. Authors are certainly welcome to ask Artists if they have any more thoughts or suggestions, or may see what the Artist thinks of any possible plot bunnies. In the end, the Author need only use the artwork and follow any prompt information posted at the art claim for inspiration. Please be respectful of each other.

2024 NCIS Reverse Bang Author Sign-ups
Authors are expected to send a rough draft of their stories to the Artist [with a copy to ncischallenge (at) gmail (dot) com] no later than Saturday, 13 April. Artists, please confirm back to your author when you receive their rough draft. Authors, if we do not receive a rough draft from you and have not heard from you by this date, the Artist will have the option to offer the artwork to a backup author. Please stay in touch with your partner and alert the mod ASAP if you need to drop out for any reason.
Artists may create any additional art they would like and may finalize their submissions, add titles, along with Artist's and Author's names. Authors, please confirm back to your artist when you receive the finalized draft. Please be sure to review the artwork and let your artist know if you see any errors in your name or the title.
All stories and artwork should be completed by Tuesday, 30 April.
Finalized artwork should be sent to the Author by this date [with a copy to ncischallenge (at) gmail (dot) com]. Authors, please confirm back to artist when you have received the final artwork.
Please make sure you have joined (rather than watching) this community and are listed as a member on our profile page. Only members can be given posting access. This is not an automatic process. I will give posting access to participants who are listed on the posting schedule. Sometime in mid-April there will be a post asking about your availability. Any Author not responding to the availability post will be assumed to have not produced a story and will not be given a posting slot. Going MIA and not responding to your partner and your mod may ban you from future challenges, so please stay in touch.
On your assigned posting day, either or both team members may make the master post. The master post is typically posted by the author and will include links to the artwork and story, which may be posted together or separately. The master post may feature artwork teasers. Artists may also create an artist post featuring their artwork along with a link to the story. Stories must be posted elsewhere and only linked to the community.
