2022 NCIS Big Bang Art Claim ***CLOSED***
Most artists at least provide cover art or a banner, but you are not limited to that. Art may be photoshop, illustrations, videos, etc. You should produce at least one piece of art that can be posted with, or linked to, the story. You may certainly produce as much art as you would like. If you want to portray a scene from each chapter, favorite scenes, chapter headings, dividers, icons, wallpapers, create multiple banners, etc., you are more than welcome to do so. You may submit all or allow the Author to choose (and they may choose ALL!). Your art should be based on the fiction it is representing.
The art you submit for this challenge must be created by you. You may not submit someone else's artwork. Untouched or cropped downloaded photos are not acceptable submissions for art. Simply adding text to an otherwise untouched or cropped downloaded photo is also not acceptable. You must artistically alter the photo beyond adding text and cropping. Creating a collage is acceptable. Moderators may ask to see the originals that you worked from to determine whether your submission is acceptable or not.
Authors: If you have not yet sent in your Rough Draft, you may still send it in at any time. If I receive any more eligible rough drafts in the next few hours, I am happy to add them to the art claim. If you send a rough draft in after this Friday, it will need to be 100% complete (can still be pre-beta). As long as I receive your rough draft by the time I am putting the schedule together, I am happy to add you to the schedule. If we do not receive your rough draft and have not heard from you, we will assume you have dropped out of the challenge.
All artwork and stories are expected to be completed and ready to post by September 30th.
All participants should watch this community for the schedule availability post in mid-September and the posting schedule in late September. Posting to begin in October. We appreciate your participation as it is much easier to put the schedule together when we hear from all participants. Authors must submit a rough draft to be included on the posting schedule.

Signed up Artists may make their first claim on Saturday. If there are unclaimed stories on Sunday at 17:00GMT, signed up artists may make an additional claim, if they would like. If there are any unclaimed stories left on Sunday evening, we may open the claims to any artist.
I will post the match-ups once all summaries have been claimed, or within a week if we still have unclaimed summaries.

Any warnings or spoilers: General spoilers for the series, especially the end of S18 and early S19. Does not exactly follow canon after Gibbs' boat explodes. (The story will still make sense if you stopped watching the series years ago as it is mainly focused on Tony, Gibbs, and my original character.)
Summary:
Tony is now employed by the FBI, assigned to a team that works missing persons cases in California. He can’t believe it when Tim calls from DC to tell him that Gibbs’ boat blew up on a lake, and Gibbs is now missing. Tony travels to DC to assist in the search, but no trace of Gibbs is found. Returning back to his job in LA, Tony is still devastated by the loss. One night, he meets an attractive young man on a beach and they begin a relationship. However, more surprises come down the road to shake up Tony’s world, including Gibbs’ journals that Tim finds and sends to Tony to read. Through the journals, Tony learns that Gibbs secretly harbored romantic feelings toward him for many years, which leads to Tony re-evaluating how he truly feels about Gibbs. It also leaves him more determined than ever to find out what happened to his former boss.

Gibbs and his team catch the case of the dead sailor, Khalil Sa'id, whose cause of death was emeralds in his digestive tract, on leave from his posting to Guantanamo Bay. Gibbs and his team head out there and encounter a SEAL Team led by Commander DiNozzo in an AU where Tony is a SEAL, and they end up working together to solve this case.

Summary:
This story picks up at the end of Truth or Consequences (s7e01). Saleem Ulman kills Ziva before Gibbs is able to take him out, and the team deals with the fallout of her death. Gibbs and Tony get closer as they deal with what happened (by the end of the story, they are contemplating a relationship). The title is from a quote from Coco Chanel: Guilt is perhaps the most painful companion of death. Besides the usual NCIS crew, the story includes Eli David and Dr. Miles Wolf from s10e02 'Recovery.'

When Tony went to RMA, he accidentally made a friend with one of the harshest people he'd ever met. Of course, with Rodney the insults were practically truth, but most people didn't see it that way. When things started going bad for Tony at NCIS, Rodney was there to bail him out and introduce him to a whole new galaxy?

- If you are not available to make a claim during this time, you may appoint a proxy to claim a story for you. They must be sure to note who they are claiming for.
- DW Artists may participate in the LJ art claims using a Facebook, Google, LJ, Twitter, or OpenID account, or may use a proxy. You are welcome to post a test comment to make sure your ID is working. While comments are disabled on this post, you may test your ID by commenting to this ID TEST POST on LJ.
- You may claim a story by noting the title and/or the number posted with the summary.
- Each summary will be assigned to only one artist.
- Claims are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
